Thumbs up "Xunlai" Belt Pouch

I'd like to see a small luggage item (say 5 slots) that is common to all characters on the account (like the storage chest) and travels with the character (like the backpack, belt pouch, and bags). It would be a handy place to keep lockpicks, consumables, ID and salvage kits, etc., and would save much time when changing characters.

Ok, just found this thread caught in the spam filter using my brand new Sardelac modding powers. I think it's worthy of a bump. Only needing to get one set of Salvage/ID kits would be good. Saves me having to remember to check for them before entering dungeons or similar long expeditions. The downside would be that it would probably be difficult, if not impossible to implement (and of course it's low on the list of things Anet should be doing, but that's not the point).

Very nice idea (and good catch Marty). It would save a lot of room and hassle to have lockpicks, ID/salvage kits, merch stones and DP remover available in an account-wide storage space. (I can see the need for a 10-space bag so that there's room for cons as well...) Doing the ZM or festival quests on multiple characters, or switching between a VQing main and a chestrunning alt for a change of pace, would be much faster and easier this way.

I hope it's a simple thing to program and add, but given how long the equipment packs took to happen, I'm guessing it won't be. /Signed anyway cos I'm eternally optimistic.

I always liked the idea of a 'keyring' shared by the entire account. But this would be actually better, since although you won't be ablt to put all keys and lockpicks like in a keyring you could put anything, not just keys.

I definitely agree with this, I think it's a great idea. Very useful so I don't have to spend extra cash on my kits/picks.

Xunlai agents are neither creative nor competitive enough to offer this service because they are required to maintain a monopoly service in GW1 universe according to ANET's design wishes....

Well i TOTALLY support this GREAT idea as I frequently get frustrated when forget which character left all the LPs and Kits on It would be nice to have something special like the Equipment packs but hold items other than armor/weapons. /signed !!!

One of the best ideas I've heard in a long time. I'd really like to have this as a place to keep my lockpicks, ID + salvage kits.

To add on to the idea, it would be nice to also allow cons to be added to the pouch.

Though low on the priority list. GW2 first!

This is a great idea, and I like it a lot. Low on the priority list and probably won't happen (I'm sure it'd be a pain to code for), but it's still neat. Maybe something like this in GW2?

Buy 80 lockpicks, put 60 in storage, switch to char#2 to take out 20, switch to char#3 to take out 20 and to#4...
Now #3 ran out....
Or last night when my guild decided to go SOO with a happy amateur balanced build, I reached 50% DP, I have roughly 1k mixed pumpkin cakes and various candy, but NONE in bags of this char, had to beg my friends for some. We all ate tons of candy, but we also completed it
This global belt pouch would be very welcomed indeed.
